A Brief History of Wirework
I began making simple jewellery designs in 2010 and as time passed self taught various media.

Whilst I had dabbled in simple wirework over the years in wasn't until the Autumn of 2014 that I took a single day course in beginner's wirework at Jewellery Maker - A UK based TV channel specialising in jewellery making - selling gems and components and broadcasting technique demonstrations. I learned to make the simple wrapped (fossil jasper) pendant shown.

I knew within 48 hours that THIS is where I wanted to spend my jewellery making hours.

The more I played with wire, the happier I became in making jewellery :-)

In May of 2015 I was contacted by Jewellery Maker channel after they had seen my Chione Neckpiece on my Etsy store.

I began as a Guest Designer on 20th July 2015 and have loved the opportunity to work with new and exciting gems and media and to develop my teaching.
